For the 2008 season, Pedal & Sea Adventures is offering all-inclusive one- or two-day tours of Nova Scotia's South Shore.
Our One-Day Bike or Kayak Tour
Our van will whisk you from your Halifax inn to the day's adventure. We believe it's the perfect opportunity to get out of the city and see Nova Scotia as it was meant to be seen.
If you chose the biking package, the days ride starts with 11 kms along the rails–to-trails with virtually no traffic to slow you down. It then takes you out along the Eastern shore of St. Margaret's Bay, to the fishing villages along the Aspotogan peninsula.
Enroute, we'll stop for a wonderful gourmet picnic at beautiful Bayswater Beach-complete with espresso and homemade desserts. After you're fueled up and ready to go, a few more clicks will help burn off the extra calories as we make our way to our final destination, the town of Hubbards.
If you chose our kayaking package, it begins in a small fishing village and winds through St. Margaret's Bay, with all its nooks and crannies. Novice kayakers will be instructed by experienced guides before setting out. After a few hours of paddling, a picnic lunch awaits.
A quick shuttle back to Halifax completes a perfect day - filled with fresh air and maritime hospitality.

If you have any questions or concerns, we’re just a phone call away.
Once settled back at your inn, you will have several dining options to choose from to help you refuel for the next day’s guided kayak adventure in St. Margaret’s or Mahone Bay.
