Weve only been home a week and already Ed and I are contemplating when and where our next cycling vacation will be.
We had a phenomenal experience with youboth of us agree that the week we spent biking and hiking along the Evangeline Trail was one of the best vacations we have ever had! Every aspect of the trip was so carefully planned outwe really appreciated the attention you paid to every detail and your sensitivity to our biking abilities. The landscape is extraordinarily beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather. Those things are really in Gods hands.
However, your selectionsthe inns, the restaurants,
the picnic lunches, the snacks, the side trips and suggestions were perfect.
Thats the only way to describe them. You really went over the top
arranging for a room with a hot tub! From the very beginning it was clear
we were in very good hands. Your knowledge of the area and expertise in
cycling made us feel at ease immediately. Your competence is one thing-but
what made the trip especially nice was being able to share it with someone
so companionable. We had a blast with you and look forward to another trip
in the very near future.
We loved Nova Scotia so much that Im thinking Cape Breton next summeralready
have two or three friends interested. Any other suggestions?
Let us know if youre ever in the New York area!
All the best,

Dana!
I just wanted to express my gratitude to you again
for making our trip a great one. You did such a fabulous job coordinating
everything. I don't know where you find the energy, but the end result
was a bunch of happy campers!

Dana & Marilou are the best guides we have ever had. Their attention to detail and eagerness to ensure our enjoyment made for a wonderful trip. We can't praise them enough! I don't know how much you are paying (yourselves), but it isn't enough!

I've said it before and I must tell you again, thanks for a great time in Nova Scotia. It was one of the most deluxe trips ever — from the pleasantly detailed picnics to the wonderful inns and B&Bs. The food was uniformly excellent. The sea kayaking was a first for me and Bill, and completing it brought a nice feeling of accomplishment. I especially enjoyed the last evening at the Quarter Deck.
Our trip to Cape Breton Highlands was great. We saw whales through our binoculars from a look off on the Skyline Trail and one moose resting in the woods. Everywhere we went people were friendly.
We really appreciated Dana's help when our rental car failed to materialize in Halifax. The Budget folks were very accommodating and we saved money.
I look forward to returning to Nova Scotia and hope our paths may cross again.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of touring with Pedal and Sea Adventures on 4 occasions, and we are looking forward to our next opportunity to do so. We've joined them in Newfoundland, Ireland, and Tuscany (twice!) Frankly, I can't say enough good things about the trips and the way we were treated.
Each time, PSA manages to exceed our expectations. That is high praise indeed given that we traveled with them multiple times. After all, it is easy to exceed expectations once, but to do it every trip (and every day!) is a real challenge! The PSA guides know their routes well, learn their clients well, and are happy to divert from plans to accomodate the wishes of the client. Frankly, it was more like traveling with good friends than with a tour company!
For us, particularly on our Italy trips, PSA quickly determined that the food and wine experience was paramount for us, and made that the focus of our trip. We couldn't have been happier! The biking was superb, the routes magnificent, and the mileage manageable enough that we weren't completely exhausted by the end of the day.
I wouldn't describe our accommodations as luxurious, but I would say they were comfortable and unique. Each had character and were welcoming in their own way. The places PSA selected added to the Italian experience and were an important part of our journey. Each was different, and none were sterile, corporate, or uninspiring. If I want that, I can stay in the US and go to the Holiday Inn! One of the trip highlights was meeting the innkeepers at each place. It definitely put us more in touch with the country we were visiting.
What would we have done differently? Stayed longer! We rushed into Italy just in time for our trip, then rushed back to the airport afterwards. Next time I'd make sure to schedule a couple of extra days...probably at the end...to explore the environs of whatever city we were leaving from.
As for what didn't we like, I'm stumped. I can't think of a single misstep or complaint. Even when things don't go exactly according to plan, PSA manages to make it part of the adventure.
We loved our experience, and we're confident that you'll love yours!
Bon voyage,
Joe Silberlicht
