Majestic mountains, fantastic fjords and the stunning North Sea — this is just Day One of our tour of Norway’s southwest coast. Norway’s nature is unmatched, its views unreal and its culture one of a kind — it’s no wonder National Geographic Travel calls it "the most beautiful and best preserved place in the world." Join us for a weeklong adventure experiencing this country by bicycle, on foot, and on the water.
While there’s plenty of cycling to be had during our seven days in this stunning Scandinavian country, our tour is a multi-sport adventure that takes advantage of Noway’s varied terrain and eternal summer, thanks to a sun that never seems to set here.
We start off in Bergen, the country’s second largest city, making our way via ferry to Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord, with stops in Flam, Finse and Voss. You'll explore the area’s mountains and hamlets on bicycle, with rides that range from 25 to 40 kilometres, take part in guided alpine hikes and hit the water with a rafting ride.
A highlight of the week — one of many — will be a ride one of the world’s best, and steepest, train rides in Flam. You’ll want a window seat for this journey, which takes us past waterfalls and ravines, impressive mountainside farms and dramatic slopes.
We know you’ll be as captivated by Norway as we are, and we’re excited to share this adventure with you. Learn more about this one-of-a-kind adventure here.
